Blessed are those who thirst and hunger for righteousness | The Curious Happiness of Jesus| Sermon

Pastor Preston continues in the sermon series The Curious Happiness of Jesus. In this series we explore the 8 beatitudes and reflect on what happiness can be for followers of Jesus. One of the most famous sermons by Jesus is in Matthew 5:1-10 and Jesus says 8 things, back-to-back, about what makes us happy. We call them the “beatitudes” which is from an old Latin word for “blessed.” How does Jesus demonstrate in a deep and powerful way where Joy really comes from? This series will explore emotions, feelings, our own stories, and experiment with ways that we can each step into the curious happiness of Jesus together, no matter what we’re going through today.
