Ordinary Saints: The Servants

Pastor Evan shared in our sermon series “Ordinary Saints." Jesus saw people as more than they were. They were beloved, holy, and beautiful to God. Our journey of following Jesus is about accepting who Jesus says we are. This week Pastor Evan shared the story at the beginning of John where Jesus is at a wedding and it’s one of the beginning miracles in understanding the glory of God. Mary points out to Jesus at the wedding they are running out of wine and asks him to meet the needs of the people there. The only people that experience this miracle are the servants who are behind the scenes. God is doing something behind the curtain and not just to wow us, but to draw us deeper into our faith.
